La Rossa plot

Red-haired Amalia returns to her small hometown on the Amalfi Coast and claims she is married to a rich man. However, the truth is different: she and her lover Pierre have committed a theft and are on the run from the police. Amalia uses Salvatore, formerly her childhood sweetheart, because she needs his fishing boat to escape across the bay. Salvatore, who has a happy marriage, promises to help her and her lover because he thinks Pierre is a political refugee. But then the truth comes out...
