La Poupée Sanglante plot

A brilliant surgeon and his cousin Gabriel create a mechanical man of perfect beauty who must be wound up like clockwork. The designers provide him with the brains of the wrongly sentenced Bénédict Masson, a man with an ugly appearance. The creature goes in search of the real culprits of the murders of which Bénédict was accused at the time. He also does this out of love for Christine, the beautiful daughter of the watchmaker.
