La Porta del Cielo plot
A group of religious, mutilated and disfigured pilgrims travel from Rome to Loreto. There they hope for a miracle from the Lady of Loreto. Among them, a poor boy from Salerno, a lower-middle-class girl and a blind young worker with his colleague who is ravaged by remorse for the accident that caused the worker to become blind.
