La Porta del Cannone plot

Riccardo, a fascist spy during World War II, is tasked with killing the head of the Czechoslovak authorities. On the train he meets Rada, a Jewish girl. Some time later they meet again when he is arrested together with a group of Jews. They both manage to flee. On his way back to Prague, he discovers that Rada is a Czech agent. She hands him over to the authorities, he is interrogated and sentenced to death. Rada resists the verdict and manages to get him to escape. Back in Prague, Riccardo sees his old love Irene again. She is also a Czech agent and convinces him not to carry out his assignment. Instead, they ambush the Gestapo guards...
