La Pampa plot
Willy and Jojo are childhood friends who never leave each other's side. To overcome boredom, Willy spends his time at La Pampa, a motocross track, where Jojo trains for the French championship. One evening, Willy discovers Jojo's secret. That means the end of his childhood.

Chevrollier filmed his directorial debut in the places where he spent his early years as a motocross racer. The film centers on Willy [Sayyid El Alami] and Jofo [Amaury Foucher], two lifelong friends who train at the La Pampa circuit when Willy discovers that Jojo is gay and having an affair with mechanic Teddy [Artus]. Willy blames Jojo for hiding this from him and is caught between two fires when Jojo's mother [Florence Janas] catches Jojo and Teddy together, and Jojo's father (and trainer) goes berserk. The only remarkable aspect of the story is Willy's reaction to his discovery. Otherwise, it distinguishes itself from similar coming-of-age dramas with authentic characters and beautifully shot and sharply edited racing sequences.
