La Minute de Vérité plot

On the night of his 12th wedding anniversary, respected doctor Pierre Richard (Jean Gabin) is called away from a victim who attempted suicide. On the table next to the victim's bed, Pierre is surprised to find a photo of his wife, the beautiful actress Madeleine Richard (Michèle Morgan). When he gets home, he asks his wife for an explanation, who regretfully admits having had a relationship with a young artist, Daniel.
