La Mesera Coja del Café del Puerto plot

The young composer Ricardo cannot find anyone interested in his music and he is almost ruined as a result. The good-natured waitress Adelita wants to do something for him and with the permission of her employer, Ricardo is allowed to play and sing in his cafe. Ricardo catches on with the crowd. The owner of a famous cabaret, with the approval of his singer Gloria, hires Ricardo and he is also successful there. Gloria falls in love with Ricardo and tries everything to win him over.
