La Madre plot
Miguel is a 14-year-old boy who is about to return to a center for minors. His mother is unemployed and leads an unstable personal life. She is unable to take care of him. That is why Miguel lives in a constant state of urgency. He does the housework, sells Kleenex and steals from supermarkets. All this comes to an end when the Social Services show up again and his mother urges him to take refuge in the house of Bogdan, a Romanian ex-lover of hers, who lives in a nearby town. At the same time, María, the owner of a bar, sympathizes with the boy and treats him the same way a mother would. The boy has never received such treatment. But one day, his mother suddenly disappears.
