La Guérisseuse plot

16-year-old Abdou lives in the suburbs of the mining town of Khouribga, under the protective wing of his adoptive mother Mbarka. Abdou tries to regain his dignity by learning to read and write. Abdou is a helpful and level-headed boy with no evil in him, but his life turns into a carousel of illusions when he meets the eccentric pickpocket Ch'Aayba.
