La Fille au Violoncelle plot

Philippe is a deputy director of a department store. He is a shy loner who lives in a large complex of buildings. He's not interested in women unless he can spy on them from his apartment. One day he is confronted by an American cellist who commits a theft in his shop. Philippe is clumsy and presents the girl as a sex object. He befriends her, but his infatuation and jealousy confuse him.
