La Femme du Bout du Monde plot

A criminal skipper claims to have found iron ore on a remote island near Antarctica and goes there with his crew. A woman lives on the island with her husband and child and the ship's crew is immediately captivated by the woman, causing major problems. The captain tries to restore order, but then a young sailor commits suicide.
