La Cruz plot

Alfredo (Norman Briski), a film critic by profession, threatens to be fired by his newspaper after many years of loyal service. To make matters worse, his wife Claudia abandoned him, took their two daughters with her and took up residence with the famous painter Pablo. Alfredo's colleagues try to assist him in these difficult times, which he spends in an advanced state of intoxication. His criticisms are getting worse and after a collision with his boss he is permanently fired. The first time he spends in the streets of Buenos Aires, yelling and ranting at the world and at anyone who will listen. Then he decides to blackmail Pablo to get his wife back. He poses as the painter and calls some of his old girlfriends to get some mud on the table. Thus he meets Eloisa. In the strange relationship that develops between the two, Alfredo sometimes denies and sometimes not that he is Pablo. In short, he behaves quite paranoid.
