La Cieca di Sorrento plot

As a child, Beatrice had to watch her mother being murdered. As a result of this traumatic event, the girl went blind. Years later, she seems to have accepted her fate and is preparing for her marriage. There is an ophthalmologist who can cure her, but her newfound husband Carlo does everything to prevent her from ever seeing again.
