La Casa entre los Cactus plot
"Visitors Are Not Welcome"
In the late 1970s, Rosa and Emilio live isolated from the world with their five daughters in a house surrounded by cacti in an idyllic valley in Gran Canaria. They lead an alternative, harmonious life but at the same time hide a secret. Then a lost backpacker appears who is looking for shelter for just one night. They offer him a place to sleep, but they soon realize they've made a terrible mistake. Their guest becomes increasingly intrusive and suspicious, and the couple tries everything to protect themselves and their family. At one point, the situation becomes so extreme and hostile that the dark nature of the house and its inhabitants threatens to be revealed.
