L'Ombre des Châteaux plot

An Italian immigrant family leads a miserable life in northern France. Fatoun, the daughter, is caught stealing and placed in a correctional institution. Her brothers free her and want to travel to Canada. Their naivety - due to growing up without radio or television - leads to comic and tragic situations.
