Teivi is the young assistant of Metis. He is in his twenties and belongs to the golden youth of Papeete. Yasmina, a distant Maori cousin of Teivi, has a miraculous gift that cuts her off from the rest of the world. The three develop a mysterious bond and become connected in a special way.
