L'Impasse du Cachalot plot

Quartier de Belleville, Paris. At the foot of the Impasse du Cachalot, the coquettish Pamela is housekeeper. It is teeming with smiles and screams of children. Gabrielle, 30, lives on the third floor of the building with her 11-year-old daughter. Two months earlier, she separated from her husband, a Paris restaurateur. She is now in financial trouble and decides to secretly open a restaurant in her apartment.
