Paul, a recently fired journalist, is in full existential crisis regarding the world, his life, his wife, his child and what he has become. He tries to clarify everything by asking for help and information from Antonio, an old philosophical communist who lives on the Catalan beach. His wife is worried about him but doesn't know that he often spends a lot of time in the company of a woman he used to have a relationship with.
