L'Homme à l'Hispano plot

The nearly financially ruined French gentleman Gaston Dewalter spends a few more days in Biarritz before setting off in the Hispano-Suiza, a luxury car, which he had received as a gift from his friends. Gaston, pretending to be a rich man, meets the beautiful and wealthy Lady Stéphane, wife of the brutal Lord Oswill, and he becomes her lover. But Lady Stéphane then spends his remaining money with which the desperate Gaston in Senegal hoped to increase his wealth again.
