Doctor Pierre Fournier is the victim of an attempted blackmail by an adventurer, Ostrowsky, who wants to marry his ex-wife Elaine. Michel, one of his patients, whom he has cared for and cured of a serious illness, wants to protect him and plans to take out Ostorwsky.
