In 1995, in the Bay of Saint-Malo, two amateur divers discovered a sunken ship at a depth of less than ten meters. An underwater archaeological team led by Elisabeth Veyrat and Michel L'Hour is responsible for clearing the ship and its treasures. Is it a pirate ship, as suggested by the maritime history of Saint-Malo? Does it date from the seventeenth or eighteenth century? Is it the wreck of Saint-Jean Baptiste, which disappeared near the pirate town in February 1714 while trying to escape the English ships amid a violent storm? What secrets does the wreckage hide?
