L'Amore Buio plot
Teenager Ciro uses drugs, drinks a lot, is aggressive and comes from the working class of Naples. He and three of his friends rape a random girl, Irene. Ciro is sent to Nishida, an island prison, for four years. Slowly he begins to realize what he has caused, while Irene learns to deal with her trauma. As a kind of self-therapy, Ciro even starts writing her letters and Irene eventually finds the strength to answer them.
