Kyô mo Mata Kakute Ari Nan plot
Satô Shôichi and his wife Yasuko struggle to make ends meet. They decide to rent out their house to Satô's boss. Yasuko leaves with their son Kazuo to her parents in Nagano, while Satô continues to work in Tokyo. In Nagano, they befriend the suicidal war veteran Tetsuo Mori and his family.
