Kismet, Kismet plot

Kemal came to West Berlin from Turkey seven years ago and built a small, secure life selling carpets. But he puts all that on the line when he decides to pursue his dream of a career as a film director. Not only has his partner Sabine left him and his friend Alper has turned to prostitution, even film academic and cameraman Frank appears to disappoint him. But Kemal refuses to give up.
