Kirmes plot
In 1945, a young German soldier at the front deserts and returns to his hometown. However, the local authorities, the church and even his father refuse to accept this and, fearing reprisals from the Nazis, offer him a place to hide where he could hide. Fifteen years later, his skeleton is found and again no one wants and dares to take any responsibility for the - now dead - soldier.
