Kings and Desperate Men plot

On Christmas Eve, a cynical deejay in Montreal is taken hostage in his own studio by a group of terrorists. They want a new, on-the-air, trial of their imprisoned comrade. As a means of pressure, the terrorists have taken the deejay's wife and his mentally handicapped son hostage. The listening audience will serve as jury and judge, over the phone. The broadcast takes increasingly strange forms and the deejay has to keep his cool in order not to let things escalate.
