Kill the Messenger plot

During the American Civil War, two Confederate brothers, Drake and Daniel, pose as Confederate soldiers. They are tasked with delivering a secret letter to a defected northern officer named Hatcher. When Drake is injured, young Daniel is forced to deliver the letter alone.
