Kicks plot

Nicole is an introverted Liverpool teenager, with a mother who mindlessly works night shifts and a father who has moved elsewhere with his new family. She spends her time hanging out at the gates of Anfield and the Melwood training grounds, desperate for a glimpse of her idol, the star of the squad, midfielder Lee Cassidy. There she meets Jasmine, who comes from a wealthy family and who has more glamor and wisdom. The shared adoration for Cassidy quickly leads them to bond.
