Khuda Ke Liye plot

The two musical brothers Mansoor and Sarmad both come from a liberal family in Pakistan. However, their lives are completely different. Sarmad (Farwad Khan) is tempted by the fine words of an imam to join jihad. He has to give up one of his most beloved pastimes, playing the guitar. Sarmad changed through his search for his faith. He also agrees to a forced marriage with the British Mary on the advice of the imam. Her Pakistani father hopes to save his own honor while Mary (Iman Ali) envisions another life. Mansoor (Shaan), on the other hand, continues to follow his own path and travels to New York to study music. After September 11, his world also changes dramatically.
