Kaze no Matasaburo - Garasu no Manto plot

In a village in the mountains in the northeast of Japan, Karin lives with her mother. Her grandfather wants to take the sick mother to a spa and take Karin into her home. Then she meets a boy in the forest, who later appears to be a new student at the village school. He is given the name 'Wind-Matasaburô', because he entered the class on the day of the incipient autumn storms. The boy also seems to have special powers.
