Katrina plot

Katrina and her son Paul look like white people, but they are known as 'colored people' in the Apartheid system. Blonde Paul, who has just returned from England and is offered a job as a doctor at the Groote Schuur hospital in Cape Town, is unaware that he is a colored person. A new pastor, Alec Trevellan, arrives and falls in love with Katrina. He too has a secret in his past. Katrina's brother Adam warns both Katrina and Alec not to get married. He invites Alec to take a look at the village where Katrina was born...
