Käthe Kruse plot

The young actress Käthe is not yet eighteen when she conquers the stages of Berlin. Privately, she falls for the famous artist Max Kruse, but their relationship is fodder for the tabloid press, causing sales of Kruse's artworks to plummet. To take some distance, Käthe goes to an artists' colony on Lake Maggiore.
