Karger plot

Karger, in his mid-thirties, is a steel worker in a town in Saxony. Having just separated from Sabine, Karger hopes to reunite with her and his daughter Clara. Sabine, however, should not know about that. Because the company Karger works for is merging, he loses his job. New jobs are not up for grabs. Fortunately, Karger soon develops a relationship with Ulrike, whom he has met several times at the favorite bar. The solution to all suffering; but this new life doesn't seem to have a happy ending either.
