A troubled relationship between mother Carol Mills and daughter Annie leads the girl to marry her new boyfriend. Mom has already warned her not to tie the knot right away until she's sure it's all right. When the marriage fails, she eventually moves in with a family. They take good care of her and Annie feels happy. Then the mother learns that her daughter was killed in an accident, but Carol Mills tries to prove that the death of her 19-year-old daughter Annie was no accident. She thinks it's the intent of a woman trying to cash in on Annie's life insurance payout...
