The mountain village of Colmars-les-Alpes is in turmoil when the body of a park ranger is found. Vincent Lapaz, a childhood friend of the victim, is convinced that it is a murder, and together with Detective Servane Breintenbach, who is new to Colmars-les-Alpes, he goes in search of the perpetrator. Their investigation will shake the entire village to its foundations.
