Jûjiro plot
Yoshiwara, Tokyo's famous entertainment district, in the 18th century: young man Rikiya is convinced that he has killed his rival in a duel. From the house of geisha O-Ume, he rushes to his sister to let her take care of his injuries. When he returns to O-Ume, he finds her in the company of his surviving rival. When he loses the next duel for O-Ume, he flees back to his sister, with tragic consequences.
