When Brandon (Andrew Ducote), the seven-year-old son of Ellie Nesler (Christine Lahti), falls victim to pedophile Daniel (Robert Bockstael), the devout woman takes the law into her own hands and kills him. The rest of the film focuses on whether or not this was a good deed by Ellie.
