Jokbo plot
During the era of Japanese occupation (1905-1945), Korean patriarch Sol Jin-young refused to pass the law that says changing the family's surname to a Japanese name. Tani, a member of the Japanese occupation force, is sent to Sol to try again to persuade Sol to change the name voluntarily, in order to avoid reprisals.
