"... And Hell Followed Him"
John Day (Naseeruddin Shah), a bank manager, is married to Maria (Shernaz Patel). The couple recently lost their only daughter Pearl (Arika Silaichi) in a forest fire while traveling with her boyfriend Kanishk (Pavel Gulati). One day, when John is at the office, his wife Maria is held hostage at home. The hostage taker calls John and tells him that a man is coming to visit him on his couch. Meanwhile, Maria is hit in the head and the victim slips into a coma. He also learns that his daughter did not die in a forest fire. John vows revenge and finds himself embroiled in a web of intrigue and corrupt bureaucrats.
