Jane's House plot

Since his wife's death, Paul (James Woods) has been living alone with his 10-year-old daughter Hilary (Missy Crider) and seven-year-old son Bobby (Keegan MacIntosh). His life changes when he meets Mary (Anne Archer). This independent woman who has little experience with children and the household moves in with him. Problems soon arise because Paul compares her in everything to Jane, his first wife.
