Jake's Corner plot

"A nephew's tragedy becomes an uncle's hope."

After a family tragedy, Johnny Dunn, an ex-football star, decides to lead a secluded life away from the limelight and moves to a small desert town, Jake's Corner. Johnny's life also changes drastically when he has to take care of his young cousin Spence, who also has serious family problems. The boy brings a form of childlike innocence to the city, while the adults in return teach him some life wisdom.
