Thomas (Klaus J. Behrendt) works for a large textile company. He travels to Vietnam for work and thus escapes the daily grind: his conflict with his son and his wife's illness. He meets the bubbly Vietnamese Huong (Nina Liu) and has a wonderful time with her, until he finds out that his meeting with her has been arranged by the Vietnamese partners of the textile company.
