Izulu Lami plot

When their mother dies, Tembi and her brother Kwezi are left alone in their village in the countryside. All that remains is a traditional Zulumat, which their mother wove and with whom she wanted to participate in a competition in Durban. Tembi decides to bring the mat to the city herself, Kwezi follows her reluctantly. For village children, the busy metropolis seems like a monster: overwhelming and frightening. And no one to help them. In this way they become street children, birds for the cat.
