Indict and Convict plot

District Attorney Sam Belden is suspected of murdering his wife and lover. Belden claims he is innocent because he was 150 miles from the crime scene at the time of the murder and says he can prove this. Prosecutor Bob Mathews must, however, do everything he can to ensure that Belden's alibi cannot save him. Considering Belden and Mathews are best friends, this is an extremely tedious task for Mathews.
