Imperium: Nerone plot
Emperor Caligula is out of his mind and sends his sister Agrippina into exile. She is separated from her only son Nero. Barely 8 years old, he is placed with his aunt Domitia. There he comes into contact with poetry and theater and grows up into a determined adult. When Caligula is murdered, Nero can finally embrace his mother. Agrippina has only one goal in mind, her son is to become emperor. Nero is forced to renounce his love for Atte. With the help of Seneca, he embarks on a series of political reforms that will break the power of the wealthy senators. While Atte discovers Christianity, Nero is driven insane. Then the army starts an uprising. Nero, abandoned by everyone, commits suicide. Atte is the only person who wants to make sure he gets a dignified burial.
