Illicit plot
"Married love or illicit. Which does the modern girl prefer?"
The self-sufficient and independent Anne Vincent spends most of the day walking around in her loose-fitting kimono. Anne is the mistress of wealthy Richard "Dick" Ives the Second. Anne and Dick have an open relationship, because unlike Dick, Anne does not believe in marriage, because a marriage stands in the way of love. Anne is convinced that she can never remain faithful to Dick, if their coexistence is sealed with a marriage. When their bond loosens, both begin to have relationships with others.
