Ill Gotten Gains plot

West Africa, 1869. Slavery is a crime punishable by death, yet the trade continues, driven by unbridled greed. Twenty-four African prisoners fill the small hull of the slave ship Argon Miss, off the coast of West Africa. As the ship sails to an unknown destination, the men and women begin to succumb to the daily regime of cruelty and abuse. When an ancient ghost appears from the wooden planks of the ship, calling for deliverance by fire, the captives led by Fyah are driven to escape in a bloody revolt.
