Il Quartetto Basileus plot

After the death of the first violinist, the three other members of the quartet decide to stop and finally enjoy real life. Real life turns out to be less compelling than expected and when a young, talented Adonis offers up for the role of first violinist, they are happy to get back to work. However, the young man turns out to lead a frivolous and worldly life, which makes the gentlemen even older than they already were.
