Il Ladro di Stelle Cadenti plot

Eight-year-old Camillo Favara, known as Milo, asks a shooting star for a large chocolate cake. He gets his cake, but it gives him severe indigestion. At eighteen, he asks his shooting star to be kissed by the beautiful eighteen-year-old Elisabeth. This wish is also granted, but she breaks his heart. By a strange twist of fate, he becomes a shooting star thief and corrects wishes that could cause pain. At forty, Milo steals a shooting star containing Elisabeth's wish for a child and is overwhelmed by a whirlwind of emotions.
