A soldier survives a bombing raid in which three fellow soldiers are killed. When the man wakes up, it is determined that he has amnesia. Since the bodies of his comrades in arms have been burned beyond recognition, the army does not know who he is of the four. The man goes in search of the families of the three dead soldiers in the hope of finding his own identity.
